What are the most popular soft drinks in the world? When we drink lemonade, water and juice, people in other countries drink completely different drinks.

Vegetables should be loved not only to eat, but also to drink. The Japanese were among the first to make healthy vegetable-based drinks regular guests on their table. Aojiru is the most popular of these drinks.

There are several recipes for aojiru, but the most common of them is the one in which the main ingredient is kale.

Everything would be fine, but she has one drawback: her juice does not taste too good. Therefore, components are added to the aojiru that correct this taste. They are usually Japanese angelica (asitaba) and sprouts of barley. Angelica, by the way, can be obtained at the pharmacy, but if there is no desire to experiment, replace it with celery stalks.

But aojiru is not only fortified, but also a soft drink. Therefore, do not forget: it is designed to drink it chilled!

Aojiru

  • Cabbage leaves (if it is difficult to find feces, you can use white cabbage) – 200 gr
  • Barley Sprouts – 150 gr
  • Celery Stalk – 50 gr
  • Cold water or milk – 200 ml

Cut cabbage, sprouts of barley and celery, mix, grind in a blender and strain. Pour into a glass. Dilute with cold water or milk. You can add sugar.

Moving to Europe. Frappe, or rather frappe coffee, is another popular soft drink. The classic recipe: coffee, ice and milk – nothing more, but in general the flight of imagination is unlimited. In frappa add fruit syrups, fresh berries, there are alcoholic options. Ideally, you need a blender – you can use it to make frappe in a few minutes.

Coffee frappe

  • Espresso coffee – 30 ml (can be replaced with 2 teaspoons of instant)
  • Milk to taste
  • Sugar – 2 tsp.
  • Water – 4 tbsp. l
  • Ice (crumb) – 1/2 tbsp.

We dilute coffee with cold water, add sugar, stir until it is completely dissolved. Add milk, stir (preferably in a shaker) until a homogeneous delicate color. In a blender, grind the ice to the state of crumbs, pour it into a tall glass, fill it with a mixture of coffee and milk.

We are going to the South-East, to India. Here in the heat they drink lassi. This is a fermented milk drink. There are two options: the first is sour, the yogurt is whipped with salt, cold water and a cumin, as it should be fried in a pan. The second is sweet: yogurt is mixed with mango, bananas, strawberries and lemon, honey, ground ice and sugar are added. Let us dwell on the sweet.

Lassi with Mango and Banana

  • Banana – 3 pcs.
  • Mango – 1 pcs.
  • Unsweetened cold yogurt – 2 glasses.
  • Strawberries – 3-4 berries
  • Honey to taste
  • Ground Ice – 1/3 cup

Sliced ​​banana, mango, strawberries pour yogurt and mix properly in a blender until smooth. In a wide low glass pour the ice crushed into crumbs, pour fruit and yogurt mixture. Honey can be added with “threads” – in the cold they freeze, making lassie not only tasty, but also unusually beautiful.
