To vary the taste of the usual black coffee, I sometimes add cardamom to it. The drink is obtained spicy, with a new shade. I will not write about the benefits and harms of cardamom, a lot of this has already been written. But the taste and aroma of coffee is pleasant. The main thing is not to overdo it with spices.
Composition for 2 cups:
- 20 g coffee
- 250-300 ml of cold non-boiled water
- 1 coffee spoon ground cardamom
- 2-3 teaspoons of sugar
How to make cardamom coffee
If coffee beans, it must be ground in a coffee grinder.
Pour in chopped grains, cardamom and sugar into the Turk. Warm Turk over low heat. Pour in water and brew coffee over low heat.
Warm coffee cups with boiling water.
When the drink rustles and starts to move from above, the Turk must be removed. You can’t bring coffee to a boil.
Strain the cardamom coffee through a fine sieve into hot mugs and serve.
