How to make Blackberry Chocolate Cake

  • Step 1 Preheat the oven

    To prepare this amazingly delicious cake recipe, preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius. Then, sift together all the dry ingredients in a large bowl: baking powder, all purpose flour, cocoa powder, cinnamon powder, powdered sugar and salt.

  • Step 2 Make an egg mixture

    Next, add melted butter in this bowl and whisk until the mixture is crumbled. Then, crack open the egg in a separate bowl and add vanilla essence along with milk in it. Mix well all the ingredients using an electric beater.

  • Step 3 Prepare the batter

    Finally, mix together both the mixtures and beat well until the batter the ready. Make sure that the cake batter is free of any crumbles. Then add half the blackberries in the cake batter and mix gently. Once done, keep this cake batter aside.

  • Step 4 Pour the batter in the baking tray

    Take a cake pan and grease it with a little butter, and transfer the cake batter into this pan. Now, take a small bowl and mix together brown sugar, unsalted butter and 1 tablespoon of all purpose flour. Pour it over the cake batter. Once done, place the baking tray in the preheated oven.
