How to make Chocochip Cookies

  • Step 1

    Pre-heat the oven at 180 degree celsius on convection mode. Meanwhile, take a glass bowl and beat butter, egg and caster sugar in it until light and fluffy.

    Now sieve flour, cocoa powder and baking powder in a bowl. Add milk and dark chocolate and combine with the egg mixture. Mix all the ingredients together and knead a soft dough. Roll the dough and cut into cookies with the help of biscuit cutter.

  • Step 3

    If you don’t have the cutter, simply roll out small balls from the dough. Pierce them with the help of a fork to make an impression. Place biscuits at least 5 cms apart, giving enough spaces for expansion. Bake the cookies at 180 degree celsius for 20–25 minutes on lower rack, till golden brown.

  • Step 4

    These cookies are perfect for occasions like birthdays and picnics as they have a long shelf life and can be stored in air tight containers. These chocochip cookies taste even better when paired with a warm glass of milk.​
