How to make Chocochip Cookies
Pre-heat the oven at 180 degree celsius on convection mode. Meanwhile, take a glass bowl and beat butter, egg and caster sugar in it until light and fluffy.
Now sieve flour, cocoa powder and baking powder in a bowl. Add milk and dark chocolate and combine with the egg mixture. Mix all the ingredients together and knead a soft dough. Roll the dough and cut into cookies with the help of biscuit cutter.
If you don’t have the cutter, simply roll out small balls from the dough. Pierce them with the help of a fork to make an impression. Place biscuits at least 5 cms apart, giving enough spaces for expansion. Bake the cookies at 180 degree celsius for 20–25 minutes on lower rack, till golden brown.
These cookies are perfect for occasions like birthdays and picnics as they have a long shelf life and can be stored in air tight containers. These chocochip cookies taste even better when paired with a warm glass of milk.
