How to make No Bake Kiwi and Choco Cake
Remove the skin of frozen kiwi fruits and grind them till a fine pulp is ready. Add the pulp in a pan on the gas flame and cook for 10 minutes on low heat. After 10 minutes, add sugar and mix well. Cook for 10 minutes on low heat. Now, add green food colour and semolina, and stir well. Close the lid and allow it to cook for about 5 to 7 minutes on low heat. Then, turn off the flame and let it cool down without removing the lid.
Until then, please ready a small tin for setting the cake, grease the bottom of the tin with butter and place the butter paper in it. By now, the mixture would have cooled down, take it out in a bowl. Add the kiwi mixture in a tin and press it using your hand. Level the surface with a spoon. Keep it in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
After 3 hours, let’s make the top chocolate layer. In an oven-safe glass bowl, put crushed dark chocolate and add 1 tablespoon of milk, and mix well. Boil some water in another vessel and keep the chocolate filled bowl on this vessel, stir continuously till chocolate melts. When the chocolate is melting remove it from the vessel. Stir well for a minute. Take out the kiwi mixture tin from the fridge. Spread the melted chocolate evenly on the top of the kiwi base. Keep in the refrigerator for 5 hours till set. (Note: You can also melt the chocolate in a microwave oven).
After 5 hours, take it out from the refrigerator. Loosen the sides with the help of a knife and take out the cake. Remove the butter paper. Cut the cake and serve immediately. Garnish with chopped cashew nuts. Enjoy the mouth-watering cake.
Tips: 1. If kiwi is not available, you can make the cake with pineapple and oranges. 2. Freezing the fruits is must before making the cake. 3. Chop the pineapple before freezing. 4. Remove the skin and seeds before freezing oranges. 5. Use orange food colour for orange choco cake and use yellow food colour for pineapple choco cake.
