Chicken skewers with zucchini, step by step recipe with photo

Here is a universal recipe, because such kebabs will be a good main course for four or a hot snack for eight.

Chicken skewers with zucchini


  • 500 g chicken breast fillet
  • 2 small zucchini or zucchini
  • olive oil
  • salt

For marinade:

  • 1 tbsp. l olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. l soy sauce
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1/2 tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp. l black sesame seeds
  • salt, freshly ground pepper


Step 1

Soak the wooden skewers in water for 1 hour. Grind the garlic and mix with 1 tbsp. l olive oil, soy sauce, vinegar and honey, salt and pepper. Cut the chicken into medium slices and place in a bowl. Pour marinade, sprinkle with sesame seeds, mix and leave for 20-30 minutes.

Step 2

Cut the zucchini into thin plates, season with salt and leave for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Roll a strip of zucchini into a roll and string on a skewer, then string a piece of fillet. So collect all the kebabs.

Step 4

Heat a frying pan with olive oil and fry the skewers for 3-4 minutes. on each side over medium heat. Transfer the prepared kebabs to the pan and keep warm.
