Grilled beef ribs, step by step recipe with photo

Undoubtedly, it’s more common to serve smoked pork ribs for beer. But do not look for easy ways. Prepare spices and spices according to the proposed list, buy beef ribs from a proven butcher – and you will have an excellent dish for both the beer menu and picnic.

Grilled beef ribs


  • 1 kg of beef ribs
  • mashed potatoes, caramelized onions and stewed sour cabbage for serving

For marinade:

  • 100 g of garlic and fresh ginger root
  • 20 g of juniper berries
  • 100 g salt

For spicy mix:

  • 4 g of caraway seeds, coarse black pepper, hot ground red pepper and coriander
  • 8 g paprika
  • 2 g each of allspice, ground nutmeg, cinnamon and clove
  • 30 g of salt


Step 1

Mix all the ingredients for the marinade with 1-1.2 liters of drinking water.

Step 2

Dip the meat in the marinade. Refrigerate for 24 hours.

Step 3

Remove the meat, wipe it dry from excess marinade. Rub with spicy mixture. Grill until cooked. Serve with mashed potatoes, caramelized onions and stewed sour cabbage.
