Skewers of turkey

INGREDIENTS

  • 700-750 g small turkey fillet
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 piece of ginger 2 cm long
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 150 g cook rice wine (mirin) or dessert wine
  • 150 ml of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp black pepper peas

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1

Peel and finely chop the ginger and garlic. Pour sugar into a large frying pan, put on moderate heat. When the sugar begins to melt, turn down the heat and, stirring constantly, pour the wine and soy sauce. When the mixture boils, add the garlic, ginger, oil and peppercorns. Cool.

Step 2

Cut the small filet into cubes, place it on wooden or thin metal skewers. Lay on a tray in one layer, fill with glaze. Leave at room temperature for 2 hours, turning over as often as possible.

Step 3

Light the coals, install the grate, heat and grease. Put the skewers on the wire rack. Fry meat for 5-8 minutes, dip in icing and fry for another 5-8 minutes. Serve immediately.
