Small Greek kebabs souvlaki can be prepared from any meat.

Souvlaki

INGREDIENTS

  • young lamb (flesh) – 500 g
  • mutton fat (tail fat) – 250 g
  • sweet red pepper – 2 pcs.
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper

To submit:

  • medium tomato – 2 pcs.
  • cucumber – 2 pcs.
  • medium onion – 1 pc.
  • lemon – 2 pcs.
  • parsley – 3-4 branches
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1

Remove all films from the meat, and then cut the pulp into 2×2 cm cubes, fat – with plates of the same size. Cut the peeled sweet pepper in the same slices. Salt and pepper meat and fat.

String on small skewers, alternating, 4 pieces of meat, 3 pieces of pepper and 3 pieces of fat. Fry on well-burned (to white ash) coals until golden brown, often turning.

Step 3

Chop tomatoes and cucumbers, chop onions. Put on a plate skewers with meat, slices of lemon, vegetables and a spoonful of onions. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with tzatziki sauce.
