Skewers of salmon with apples


  • 1 kg salmon fillet
  • 2 medium sweet and sour apples
  • 2 tbsp. l vegetable oil
  • 4 tbsp. l dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. l liquid honey
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 0.5 tsp ground corinder
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper
  • bamboo skewers


Step 1

Soak bamboo skewers in water for at least 30 minutes. before cooking.

For the marinade, heat a little honey, mix with lemon juice and soy sauce, add vegetable oil.

Cut the apples into quarters, remove the core, do not clean the skin. Cut each quarter across another 2-3 parts, depending on the size of the apples.

Cut the salmon into oblong pieces measuring approximately 3.5 x 2 x 2 cm, dry with paper towels and put in the marinade with apples. Leave on for 15 minutes.

String pieces of fish and apples on skewers as tightly as possible. Fry over well-burned coals, often turning until golden brown. The fish is fried very quickly and should remain very tender inside, usually no more than 5-7 minutes.
