- turkey fillet – 1 kg
- salt, freshly ground white pepper
- vegetable oil
- bamboo skewers
For the sauce:
- vegetable stock or water
- liquid honey – 1 tbsp. l
- lime juice – 1 tbsp. l
- peanut butter (with or without slices) – 150 g
- dark soy sauce – 3 tbsp. l
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Soak bamboo skewers in water for at least 30 minutes. before cooking.
For the sauce, mix all the ingredients until smooth, pouring the vegetable broth or water a little bit to get a sauce of density of not very oily sour cream.
Cut the turkey fillet into strips 10 x 2 x 2 cm in size. Dry with paper towels, season with salt and pepper, grease with vegetable oil.
String each strip of fillet on a skewer so that it is slightly gathered “accordion”. Fry on well-burned coals, often turning until golden brown – without overdrying! Inside, the meat should be soft and tender, about 7 minutes.
Serve kebabs immediately with peanut sauce.
