- 2 lemons
- 800 small turkey fillets
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 200 g olive oil
- 200 ml dry white wine
- 1 tbsp dry oregano
- salt to taste
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Small turkey fillet cut into cubes with a side of 2.5 cm.
Squeeze juice from lemon, mix with wine, olive oil, minced garlic and oregano. Lay out the turkey, mix and season with salt. Stir again and let the meat marinate for 1.5-2 hours.
String the meat into skewers of 5-6 pieces. Coat souvlaki thoroughly with marinade on all sides.
Light the coals, install the grate and warm it up properly. Lubricate the grill with oil, spread the skewers. Dipping thyme branches in the marinade, periodically grease the meat with it. Cook souvlaki for 5-8 minutes, depending on the heat of the coals, turn over and continue to fry for another 5-8 minutes, not forgetting to grease the marinade. Serve with greek salad.
