Sugar hearts from childhood, the taste everyone knows. And ears or hearts – that’s someone like)) I would call this recipe sugar cookies “at all times”, because to make it easy, always turns out tasty, and the batter (if there is an odd or blank) may be stored for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
In advance, prepare all the ingredients, the oil remove from the refrigerator, it should be soft. Sift the flour with the baking powder.
In a deep bowl put the cheese, soft butter, a pinch of salt and 1 tsp sugar.
All mix thoroughly with a spatula until smooth.
Add 1 egg and mix again.
Then gradually add flour, knead soft, elastic dough.
It should not stick to your hands.
If you have liquid cheese, flour may need a little more.
Then wrap the dough with cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Work surface sprinkle 1/4 of sugar frequent.Divide the dough into two parts, with one you will work, the other put back in the fridge.
Roll out the dough in a rectangular layer, using sugar as a topping, then fold the seam on the long side from the edge to the middle on both sides.
Then with a sharp knife cut the resulting loaf into strips 1.5 cm wide and form cookies in the shape of hearts.
Roll them in sugar, place on a baking sheet at a distance from each other.
Bake at 180 degrees for about 20-25 minutes until they are brown.
