Barley with mushrooms

  • barley 500 gr.
  • onions 300 gr.
  • tomato paste 2 tbsp
  • mushrooms 200 gr.
  • oil 4 tbsp
  • spices
  • salt

Step-by-step recipe

Mushrooms can take any the same can be prepared without mushrooms.

In a pan fry the onion with the mushrooms for about 5 minutes.

In a large bowl, mix water with tomato paste and spices .

As the mushrooms and onions gave cover them with tomato paste and water have mixed.

Let the sauce to boil all for 5 minutes.

Now add to the mushrooms with onions in tomato sauce pearl barley(barley we had pre-boiled until tender) all mix well and keep on fire for 5 minutes.

That’s all our delicious barley porridge and ready.
