Korean Carrot Recipe

Ingredients

  • carrots – 1 kg
  • onions – 2 pcs.
  • Refined vegetable oil – 100 ml
  • vinegar 9% – 2 tsp
  • garlic – 10 cloves
  • ground hot red pepper – 1 tsp
  • salt – 1 tsp
  • ground coriander – 1 tsp
  • sugar – 2 tsp

Step by step recipe

1) Peel the carrots and then grate Korean carrots.

2) Add 2 teaspoons of sugar to the carrot.

3) Add 1 teaspoon of salt.

4) Add 2 teaspoons of vinegar.

5) Mix well.

6) Chop onions.

7) Pour 100 ml of vegetable oil into the pan and fry the onion on it until golden brown. We do not add onions to the carrots themselves; they are used only for flavor.

8) Grate the garlic on a fine grater or pass through a press.

9) Add 1 teaspoon of ground coriander to carrots.

10) Add 1 teaspoon of ground red pepper.

11) Pour the vegetable oil onto the carrots, on which we fried the onions.

12) Thoroughly mix the carrots.

13) Add the garlic.

14) And again, mix thoroughly so that all the spices and garlic are evenly distributed over the carrots.

15) Put the prepared carrots in the refrigerator for 4 hours to insist.

Korean carrot is ready!
