Add fish to the menu – a good idea, especially if you are trying to eat the right, dietary food. But how quickly boiled and steam salmon bored! For those of you who have a “fish day” on the agenda almost every day, we found two creative recipes with which “the right food” will not be equal to “tasteless”.

Salmon, Grapefruit and Avocado Salad Recipe

This salad is light and extremely regular: thanks to walnuts and salmon, it contains omega-3 fatty acids, which are necessary for heart health, and also monounsaturated fats in avocados. Grapefruit helps speed up metabolism and stabilizes blood sugar. In a word, this salad is a powerful combination, ideal for those who are on the way to lose a couple of kilograms.

  • 1 large grapefruit
  • a bunch of salad
  • 1 ripe peeled avocado, sliced ​​into thin slices
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 150 gr salmon filet
  • 1/4 cup crushed walnuts, crushed
  • 5-7 cherry tomatoes, cut in half

Peel the grapefruit and segment. Juice will probably flow in the process, so keep the grapefruit over the bowl. Juice is useful to us for salad! Mix slices of grapefruit with lettuce (you need to tear them in large pieces directly with your hands, without resorting to a knife), avocado and juice. In a small bowl, mix lemon juice, oil, ¼ teaspoon of salt and ¼ teaspoon of pepper.
Season the salmon with salt and pepper and fry in a pan a little greased with olive oil, you need to fry for 3-4 minutes on each side.
After that, remove the fish from the heat and cut into several large pieces. Add it to the salad, and then season with lemon and oil sauce. Sprinkle walnuts and cherry on top of the salad.

Salmon Skewers Recipe

  • 500 gr salmon
  • 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 sprigs of fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • a pinch of sea salt
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 small zucchini sliced ​​in circles
  • 100 gr broccoli
  • 100 gr cherry tomatoes

Cut the salmon into large cubes, removing the skin and bones. Combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, rosemary, thyme, salt, mustard and garlic. Put salmon in this marinade and mix. Then add zucchini and broccoli, mix again. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 45 minutes.
Soak wooden skewers for kebabs in water (so that they do not carbonize during the frying process).
Heat the grill pan, lightly grease it with olive oil. After the salmon and vegetables are marinated, string them on sticks, adding one or two cherry to each kebab.
Fry kebabs for 2-3 minutes on each side.
