Batter Up Cocktail
A drink so rich, it could double as dessert. Smoked nutmeg, pumpkin puree, smoked syrup and a little bourbon makes for the perfect cold weather pour.
1 whole nutmeg
2 Ounce Michter’s Bourbon
1 1/2 Teaspoon pumpkin puree
1/2 Ounce Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup
1 Large egg
1Smoked nutmeg: When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 180℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes. For optimal flavor, use Super Smoke if available.
2Place whole nutmeg on a sheet tray and place in the grill. Smoke 1 hour. Remove from grill and let cool.
3Add everything to a shaker and shake without ice. Add ice, then shake and strain into a chilled highball glass.
4Garnish with grated, smoked nutmeg. Enjoy!
